Entry Fees & Conditions
The 2026 Event fees:
- Solo – $485.00 + booking fee
- Tandem Solo – $485.00 per swimmer + booking fee
- 9News Duo – $790.00 + booking fee
- Team – $1,475.00 + booking fee
- Lavan Charity Challenge – $1,475.00 + booking fee (in addition to $3,500.00 compulsory fundraising amount *minimum).
Prices listed in AUD currency.
Did you know the Rottnest Channel Swim is a not for profit event? This means that your entry fee goes into making the swim a better experience for you every year!

Refunds
Solos: If you’ve registered as a solo swimmer and apply in writing for a withdrawal from the event before the withdrawal date (dated in our Terms and Conditions), you’ll receive a 50% refund of the entry fee.
9News Duo and Team: If you’re in a duo/team, you confirm your intention to enter the Event by making payment upfront when you register. There are no refunds for 9News duo and team swimmer withdrawals. Please visit our Registration FAQs page for information on substituting duo and team participants.
Lavan Charity Challenge (LCC) Team: There are no refunds for LCC team withdrawals. Should the compulsory fundraising amount not be reached by Thursday, 19 February 2026, the entry will be cancelled and no refunds will be given.
You cannot transfer or assign a successful entry to another person or team. The RCSA will not allow any transfers between solo, duo or team categories of the event.
