Butterfly solo crossing: boat, skipper, and paddler required

Postby eliball » Sat 30/09/2017 8:20 pm

I am am a long distance butterfly swimmer from Sydney and will be attempting a solo butterfly crossing of the Rottnest Channel. I came close last year, but the current got the better of me and I was told to stop after missing the 18km cutoff mark.

I'm looking for a support boat, skipper, kayak, and paddler for my attempt. Experience preferred, and I'm happy to pay a reasonable charter rate for the boat and kayak, as well as the skipper and paddler.

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to flying all the way this time round!

Paddlers are required to attend the briefing and have practiced paddling with their swimmers. Skippers. Boat skippers are the unsung heroes of the swim. Your role begins when you accept to assist a solo or team of swimmers to complete the swim months before the actual event.
