These rooms have been freshly painted and equipped with new furniture. Enjoy the privacy of your own room, while sharing the kitchen and bathroom with a smaller group of residents on your floor. Cooking dinner or making meals together with your neighbours is much more fun and a great way to make new friends.

When you arrive your bed will be made with your bed linen pack and towel ready for you to use.

Feeling safe and supported is always important and each standard premium 'house' has an assigned Residential Advisor (RA). This is a senior year resident who lives in the same house, whose role is to support you during your stay. They organise fun social activities such as pizza nights, movie nights and outings to ensure you have the best experience living with us at UniHall.

Rottnest Island is Western Australia's very own Island getaway, featuring a casual atmosphere, picturesque scenery and some of the world's finest beaches and bays, is located just 19 kilometres off the coast of Fremantle.

It’s a special place for Western Australians and a popular destination for interstate and international visitors. Mediterranean-style climate and the range of flora and fauna on this Island provides the backdrop to a special holiday experience.

Our comfortable chalet is situated in a quiet location at the rear of Turoa Alpine village and backs onto a reserve, surrounded by mature trees and expansive lawns. An undercover spa pool adds a touch of luxury and makes relaxing at the end of the day a pleasure.
You will feel like you are in the countryside as you listen to the tuis and watch the rabbits. However a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk and you will find yourself in the heart of Ohakune with it’s wide range of amenities. Here you can hire mountain bikes or ski equipment or access transport to tramp the famous Tongariro Crossing. For those seeking a more relaxing break you can stroll along the riverside walk and relax in one of the numerous cafes or restaurants and watch the world go by. The Carrot Adventure Park is ideal for families and even has an outdoor gym for mum and dad!

On the ground floor of the chalet there is a bathroom, a laundry area and an open plan kitchen, living and dining room. The fully equipped kitchen with full size stove, microwave and fridge/freezer makes self-catering a breeze whilst the comfy sofas, TV with Freeview and a selection of DVDs, music, games and books mean you will remain entertained whatever your choice of media. A log burner and heat pump/air conditioning unit will keep you comfortable whatever the temperature outside and a purpose built drying cupboard will take care of wet outdoor gear.
