Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential component to the success of the 2010 WAtoday Rottnest Channel Swim. To be a volunteer you need to be over the age of 16 for insurance reasons. Volunteer roles are varying but include tasks such as registrations, marshalling and T-shirt sales.

As a volunteer, if you assist at the finish line you will receive a return ferry ticket to Rottnest Island and lunch. All volunteers receive a hat and T-shirt to wear at the briefing and on race day.

The RCSA will hold a complusory Volunteer Briefing on the 17th January 2010 at 10am. It will be held in the lecture theatre at Challenge Stadium, Stephenson Ave, Mount Claremont. The volunteer briefing covers all components of the race, including volunteer duties for the lead up events and on race day.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for any of the days listed below, please fill out the volunteer form and email it to admin@rottnestchannelswim.com.au, post it to PO Box 2004, Claremont WA 6010 or fax it 9287 2550 by the 24th December 2009.
