The Bureau of Meteorology contributes to the safety, security and general convenience and well being of the Western Australian community by:

• continuously monitoring the weather and climate of the Western Australian region; and
• providing meteorological and related forecasts and warnings to weather- and climate-sensitive sectors of the community.
